The Moove...

ב''ה

Some of the book boxes.

We are finally moving tomorrow! Our landlord gave us two months to move out. 2 1/2 months later (ahem) here we are. After Passover (18th - 26th April this year) maybe, just maybe I can get back into baking into time to la'bamba!

The new shtub in West Hempstead. No more Brooklyn for us! There is a Jewish saying, Don't do to others as you would not like done unto you. In Brooklyn the saying seems to be 'Trample unto others, or they shall trample onto you!' I'm still trying to figure out if that is implied somehow by the phrase 'fugedaboudit.'

  4. Yay, Mendy! So glad to hear your move is finally behind you and Mrs. Mendy. Looking forward to seeing your baking treasures in the new shtub, which I might add, looks quite nice.

  5. Mendy, that's a lot of books! Are they mostly cookbooks?

I hope the move will go on smoothly. Looking forward to have you back baking with us!

  6. Mendy from someone that has moved A LOT in her lifetime (I still have one more coming in 2012) I know how stressful it could be (specially with the kiddies) I hope all is well and that the new house welcomes you with open arms.. Happy moving and happy baking!

And don't worry, you get to catch up with the rest of us that don't even have the excuse of moving for missing out on HBC, but have been plain lazy (hang head low).

  8. Oh Mendy, I feel your pain. Moving is such a pain in the proverbial! Your new place looks lovely and it will be great to get back to normal - well hopefully not the kind of "normal" that includes any trampling!

    Good luck
